LDM Animation is a creative studio founded by Luca and Lodovica, a father-and-daughter team who have been playing and designing board games together since childhood. What began as a shared passion for storytelling and play has evolved into a collaborative venture dedicated to creating original, beautifully crafted games that blend strategy, atmosphere, and emotion.

The father brings decades of international experience as an executive in the automotive world, having worked with some of the most prestigious global brands. He is also a best-selling and award-winning author with a lifelong love of sport and design.

The daughter has a background in law, visual arts, and anthropology. Her studies and travels across continents have shaped a broad cultural perspective that informs both the visual and conceptual dimensions of our work.

At LDM Animation, we develop games that are both intelligent and accessible, inspired by history, culture, and the joy of human connection. Back of the Goal, our first release, is a heartfelt tribute to football—its heritage, its simplicity, and its power to bring people together across languages and generations.
